OrganizeAI is a Chrome extension that helps you organize, bookmark, and manage your AI chat experiences across platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and DeepSeek. 1. What Information We Collect (Current Version)

At this time, OrganizeAI does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on remote servers.

No sign-in required: You can use the extension fully without creating an account.
No chat content access: We do not access, collect, or analyze your chat messages.
No tracking or analytics: We do not use third-party tracking scripts or analytics tools.
All data stays local: Your folders, bookmarks, and settings are stored securely in your browser.

2. Future Features (Optional)

We are actively working on features that may require optional account creation, cloud backup, and Pro subscriptions. These may include:

Google or email-based sign-in
Cloud sync and cross-device support
Premium features with payment integration

When these features become available, you will be asked for clear consent before any data is collected or stored outside your device. We will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.

3. Where & How Data Is Stored

All data in the current version is saved in chrome.storage.local or localStorage within your browser. This ensures your data never leaves your device unless you opt into future sync features.

4. GDPR and Your Privacy Rights

Since we currently do not collect or store personal information on our servers, we do not hold any data subject to GDPR requests (access, deletion, etc.). Once cloud features are introduced, full GDPR compliance will apply.

OrganizeAI requests minimal Chrome permissions necessary for core functionality:

Read/write access to local storage for saving folders, bookmarks, and preferences
Permission to modify UI on supported sites (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek)

No sensitive permissions (like remote script access or host permissions) are used without clear disclosure.

- OrganizeAI currently uses only local storage mechanisms: chrome.storage.local and window.localStorage.
- No external APIs, analytics platforms, or cloud storage services are in use.
- Content scripts are scoped to chat.openai.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com, and chat.deepseek.com only.
- No remote code or inline scripts violate Manifest V3 restrictions.
